Weird Wednesday

Freaky Friday has nothing on Weird Wednesday. Having been deserted by her husband Richard just before Christmas, Vanessa Williamson is now at her wit’s end. Her thirteen year-old son, Simon, on the other hand, is determined to make the man pay, but being in boarding school, he just can’t do anything about it. A freak road accident has tremendous consequences, for both of them, for when Simon wakes up in the hospital; he discovers that he is now in his mother’s body, so presumably she is now in his! Unaware that there is now a gritty and tough young woman called Nessa on his case, Richard returns to the UK on a false passport to complete some unfinished financial business, with some unsavoury characters. With a lot of money at stake and a series of complicated events involving London gangsters, the police and a racehorse, the upshot is that Nessa does not want to go back to being a boy, even if there was a way for that to happen.
