The Indians
The Indians of the Old West were the man who had weathered skin, braided hair and wore feathered headdresses.
They were a proud and resilient people who were taught to fight and to hunt from a very early age, with their manhood being measured by their boldness and courage in battle. Some were nomadic hunters who followed the buffalo, while others were farmers or fishermen, but whatever their culture and traditions, they all shared a common destiny - to fight for their lands from which they were being forced, by the white man. The Indians within all played their part in a bid to save their peoples and their lands.
