GATHERING MIST

Through these poems the writer works out his emotions, sometimes despair, sometimes anger as he witnesses the slow degeneration of his wife's mental and physical condition due to Alzheimer's disease. The poems appear in chronological order and a study of them in sequence takes the reader on that same journey, observing the progressive breakdown of an intelligent mind and the helplessness of anyone who love her.
