A Palace of Pearl

'The Island Trinity' is a fast-paced, magical fantasy adventure describing the journey of Eron, Kyna and Nanae as they seek to restore the lost powers that protect three mysterious islands. 'A Palace of Pearl' is the second instalment of the series, following on from 'A City of Secrets'. After escaping from the corrupt Governor Grinor and his men on the island of Baile, our heroes are thrown into a new, mystical land called Mer, lost over a thousand years ago thanks to the great storm. With the help of new friends, they search for the ancient power that once protected the island. But not all is as it seems in Mer; the King remains holed up in his palace, refusing to see the people he rules, and children are going missing. Meanwhile, a young commander quickly rises up the ranks in Grinor's army, the palace staff begin to rebel, and some old faces appear in Osra. And all the while, the storm is getting closer...
